Glen Spey Connoisseurs Choice 10 Year Old, Refill American Hogshead Cask, 1995, Gordon & MacPhail, 43%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

83 / 100

At 43%, this has an appealing contrast: apple skin and delicate florals on the nose, then drying spice and toasted notes on the palate. The stated strength suits my preference for a measured style.
