GlenDronach Cask Bottling 28 Year Old, Pedro Ximénez Puncheon Cask, Cask #6871, Batch No. 19, 2021, 53%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

89 / 100

The cranberry, bramble and black cherry give this a clear dark-fruit direction, with toasted raisin and treacle adding a richer edge. Raisin, sultana and currants continue on the palate, while ground coffee offers a useful contrast. A fruit-led character with depth.
