the freshly cut herbs on the palate and rooibos tea in the finish give this a detail i like, without taking it away from its darker, fruit-and-coffee character. there’s a clear contrast between sweet dates and dried fruit and the dry, oaky finish. It sounds rich and warming, though the dryness and spice seem to keep it from being an especially soft or gentle style.
