I like the contrast between the fruity, gingerbread-led nose and a palate that turns toward herbs and spice, with fine honey notes alongside. The finish is described as full and warming, giving the spicy side a satisfying close rather than leaving the picture focused only on sweetness. That shift is more appealing to me than a crowded list of competing flavours, and it gives this 19-year-old Speyside single malt a clear direction.
