Glenmorangie The Quinta Ruban, Bourbon & Port Cask, 2007, 46%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

89 / 100

Tangerines and Seville oranges give this a bright, clear fruit center, while mint chocolate and walnut keep it darker and more grounded. I like that contrast: the citrus returns subtly in the lingering, silky finish rather than taking over. The rose and Turkish delight add a gentle floral, sweet counterpoint on the palate. A composed combination with fruit still easy to pick out.
