Haig Dimple 15 Year Old, Bourbon Oak Cask, 43%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

76 / 100

The spice and slight citrus edge give the toffee a bit of lift. The palate sounds less settled at first, but the shift toward gentle smoke and caramel is interesting. I like that contrast, though the fairly short finish holds it back.
