Hibiki 21 Year Old Mount Fuji - First Edition, 2014, 43%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

88 / 100

Ripe banana and cooked fruit sound appealing, with Mizunara incense and smoke adding an unusual edge. The many layers of oak and spice may crowd out a simpler malt character, which I tend to prefer.
