87 / 100

the interesting part is the contrast: rich sherry-soaked dark fruits and vanilla custard meet aromatic peat, while the nose keeps the smoke gentle. the dried orange peel and dark chocolate on the finish give it a more grounded close than a simple sweet-and-smoky combination. i tend to look for herbal or tea notes, and those aren't part of the described character here; still, the fruit, spice and peat make for a clear, appealing set of flavours.
