Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Brand, New Charred American Oak Cask, 1977, 40%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

83 / 100

Toasted oak, caramel, and ripe banana give this a warm, rounded direction, while light smoke and a dry oak finish add some edge. It sounds richer than the bright, crisp styles I tend to gravitate toward.
