Kornog Roc'h Hir, Bourbon Cask, 46%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

84 / 100

The vanilla and citrus make a nice counterpoint to the peat smoke, while nutty malt and warm spices give it some weight. I like the bright citrus against the long, smoky finish; this is an easy recommendation for someone who enjoys a coastal, peated style.
