Laphroaig 10 Year Old Pre Royal Warrant, Bourbon Cask, 40%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

86 / 100

The orchard fruit and apricot sound like a welcome lift against the medicinal smoke and salt. Apple, pineapple and citrus keep the palate lively, though the peat and smoky finish make this a more assertive fruit character than a soft, easy-going one.
