Macallan Enigma, European Oak Sherry Cask, 2017, 44.9%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

88 / 100

This sounds firmly on the rich side: dried fruit, treacle and cacao give it plenty of weight, while oak and baking spice add a warmer edge. That mix feels appealing without sounding overly sweet.
