Penelope Toasted Series Marshmallow Toast 4 Year Old, Char 3 Heavy Toast Cask, 55%

This is an appealingly focused bourbon direction: vanilla and marshmallow sweetness meet toasted bread, char, and substantial oak, so it reads richer than a simple dessert note. Baking spice and cherry give the palate some contrast, while the finish keeps the toasted sweetness and warming barrel-strength spice in view. That balance of vanilla, oak, and spice is very much my lane, though the oak sounds like a real presence rather than a background detail.
