Pittyvaich Prima & Ultima 30 Year Old, Sherry Cask, 2022, 50.1%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

87 / 100

The redcurrant, cherry and raspberry-jam notes give this a lively fruit side, while the dry, tannic turn keeps it from feeling simply sweet. That balance sounds appealing.

Lightly sweet, sherried fruitiness, Pinch of salt, Tannic, dry, and spicily warming, With water, spice increases while the taste thins
