Rare Hare 7 Year Old, American Oak & French Oak Staves Cask, Batch No. 1, 50%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

84 / 100

Toasted oak, warm vanilla and golden toffee make this sound comfortably familiar, while the French oak influence gives the sweetness another layer. A crisp, lingering finish is a nice counterpoint to the oak and toffee character.
