Shackleton Blended Malt Whisky, Bourbon & Sherry Cask, 40%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

82 / 100

the apple and toffee combination gives this a clear, inviting direction, with vanilla and malt fitting my usual preferences. there’s plenty of sweetness across the notes, while dry oak and the fairly short finish keep it from sounding especially rounded. overall, an appealing, straightforward blended malt.
