Springbank 10 Year Old, Bourbon & Sherry Cask, 46%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

86 / 100

Honeycomb and fruit bring sweetness, while gentle smoke, salt and oak spice keep it from turning into pudding. The finish adds ginger and a touch of bitterness, which sounds like useful restraint. That balance suits my preferences.
