Dark fruit, baking spice and honeycomb give the nose a sweet, warm direction, while sea spray and smoke keep it from becoming too soft. The palate sounds quite full, with caramel and dark chocolate set against brine and peat. That mix is interesting, though the long, warming finish and several strong flavours suggest a more forceful style than a restrained one.
