83 / 100

The fruit character is the clearest point of appeal here. Soft peach and pear on the nose lead into dried summer fruit, grape, pears and green apple on the palate, giving the blend a contrast between fresh and dried fruit. Soft toffee accompanies the fruit on the nose and returns alongside syrup and honeycomb on the palate. Chocolate and soft spice add variety without drawing attention away from the fruit. The short finish is a reservation: those looking for the fruit to linger may find that it ends sooner than they would like. Still, for a fruit-focused preference, the combination of pear, grape and green apple gives the palate plenty of interest.
