The sweet notes have plenty of company here: milk chocolate and creamed caramel meet bell pepper and clover on the nose, while eucalyptus brings a more savoury, cooling counterpoint on the palate. The finish keeps that eucalyptus going, with mint, bitterness and a cayenne-like spiciness adding a firmer edge. That contrast makes this more interesting to me than a straightforwardly sweet malt, though the reported heat and bitterness keep it from feeling entirely easygoing.
