Tomintoul Glenlivet 12 Year Old, 43%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

85 / 100

At 43%, this reads as a sweet, malt-led single malt, with caramel and dried oranges on the palate and bitter herbs at the end. I like that little contrast against the sweeter notes, though the overall character sounds firmly on the dessert-like side.
