Tullibardine Natural Strength 12 Year Old, Pedro Ximenez Cask, 2012, Cadenhead's, 54.7%

87 / 100

Treacle tart and sticky toffee pudding set a rich, sweet direction, while blueberries, black cherries and chocolate covered dates bring darker fruit and confectionery notes. Turkish delight adds another soft, sweet thread; raisins, dark toffee and orange essence carry that character into the finish. The documented flavours lean toward dessert-like sweetness, but the range of fruit keeps the picture from feeling one-note.
