Bowmore Gold Reef is a travel retail exclusive single malt, launched in 2014 as part of a trio alongside Black Rock and White Sands. It is named after the reef in front of the distillery, which glows golden in the sun. The whisky is matured predominantly in first-fill bourbon barrels, resulting in a profile rich in tropical fruits, vanilla, and gentle Islay peat smoke.
