paperboat.sparrow17 SeptOrange peel brightens the caramel, with a gentle smoky edge.
smallbatch.sparrow19 JulThe caramel and vanilla give this blend an easy sweetness, while the light smoke keeps it from feeling one-note. The short-to-medium finish sounds nicely restrained, with just a little pepper and oak dryness to round it out.

84 / 100This has an easygoing balance: smooth grain sweetness and vanilla meet a refined wisp of smoke, so the character feels rounded rather than heavy. Citrus and orange peel add a brighter edge to the sweet caramel notes. The short to medium finish is a modest limitation, though lingering caramel and gentle smoke give it a little staying power. A welcoming style of blended whisky, with enough detail to keep it interesting.
