Nose
Soft honeys and waxes, old school distillate (soft waxy metals) vanilla bean, bruised peach, some old lacquer, maple syrup, golden raisins, wonderfully old school. Expressive nose, definitely my favourite part of the dram.
Palate
More wax and honey, toffee, antique wood, very tasty, if not a little under powered. A little watery, and just does not stand up to what the nose promised.
Finish
Short finish, but still tasty, still a little thin, but the flavours build.
