Glenfiddich 18 Year Old Small Batch Reserve, a Speyside single malt matured in Spanish Oloroso wood and American oak and married in small batches for a rich, fruity and robustly oaked profile.
Based on 2 published Maltiply reviews.

Ripe orchard fruit and baked apple give this an inviting centre, while mellow oak and gentle sherry character keep the sweetness from sounding one-dimensional. The warming, smooth, robustly oaked finish suggests a fairly oak-led close; that balance is more compelling to me than fruit sweetness alone. It reads as a composed Speyside malt, with enough contrast between apple, sherry and oak to hold interest.

The SGD reference feels steep, though spiced apple and mellow oak appeal.
