Description

J.J. Corry The Hanson Batch #2 is a meticulously balanced Blended Grain Irish Whiskey, bottled at 46% ABV without artificial coloring or chill-filtration. It is a blend of Irish Grain Whiskies from multiple distilleries, aged for four and ten years (with some sources mentioning nine years) in ex-Bourbon barrels. This release is named after J.J. Corry's son-in-law, 'The Gauger Hanson,' who was a revenue officer in the early 1900s. J.J. Corry, founded by Louise McGuane, revives the traditional Irish art of whiskey bonding.
