Description

Experience the exceptional complexity of Teaninich 9-year-old #716302, expertly crafted by The Single Cask team. Distilled in August 2011 and finished in Pedro Ximénez casks before bottling in October 2020, it offers a delightful palate of cooked apple, pear, and subtle hints of citrus peel, culminating in a softly vegetal yet sweet finish with notes of orchard fruit.

Nose
Citrus, ginger, apple crumble.
Palate
A playful burst of sour cherries, strobing on to earthy mushroom. Crunchy pear, apple, allspice, nutmeg, bell pepper, sandalwood. Medium bodied.
Finish
Ginger, red tea, wood spices, cinnamon, paprika and tangy citrus peels. It's almost clingy on the tongue as it gets bigger as it leaves.
