Description

The Teeling Renaissance Series 5 is an 18 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey, aged initially in ex-Bourbon barrels before receiving extra maturation in ex-Calvados casks. This limited edition release consists of 9,000 bottles and is bottled at 46% ABV with no chill filtration.

Candied apples, cinnamon, baked pears, fresh mint, blood orange, lime juice, pink grapefruit peel, papaya, physalis, nectarine, malted milk, banana bread with butter and candied walnut topping, apple compote, pear drops, apple cider, raisins, marshmallow, tarte tatin, buttery apple cake, honey, sugar cane sweetness, marzipan, vanilla.
Palate
Apple pie, golden raisins, pink peppercorns, jasmine, intense orange and lime juice, pineapple fritter, banana bread with sultanas, walnuts and brown sugar, ripe bananas, mango, stewed apples and pears, passion fruit, light grassy touch, mineral notes, white pepper.
Finish
Medium-long, fades on banana bread and walnut, grassy and peppery notes, apple peelings, maple syrup, dried cherries, wood tannins.
