This bourbon has a clear contrast I find appealing: soft wheated notes alongside sharp baking spices and a chewy, coating texture. Honeyed stone fruit and butterscotch keep the palate on the sweeter side, while dark cocoa, oak spice and roasted nuts bring a long, warming finish. The nose adds vanilla bean, toasted cinnamon and dark caramel, with maraschino cherry giving it a distinctive lift. There is enough grain detail here to make the bourbon character interesting without needing extra ornament.

Sweet vanilla and dark caramel meet sharp baking spices, with warming oak spice carrying through the finish. That contrast gives the rich, sweet character a welcome bit of edge.

single-barrel detail is clear, with a warmly spiced cocoa-and-oak finish.

The chewy, coating texture gives this bourbon a nice sense of weight, while honeyed stone fruit and butterscotch meet a sharper baking-spice edge. A warming, cocoa-and-oak finish rounds it out.
