Caperdonich Pepper, lemon & smoke 12 Year Old, Refill Hogshead Cask, Cask #38.18, 1994, Scotch Malt Whisky Society, 59.4%

The creamy toffee and lemon give the pepper and smoke a useful contrast. That balance appeals to me, though the peppery, bitter finish leans further from my usual preference for light spice.
