Coleburn Rare Malts Selection 21 Year Old, 2000, 59.4%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

87 / 100

The peat is delicate, which suits my preference for smoke that stays in the background. Citrus, waxy lemon and vanilla give it plenty of other character, with ginger and pepper carrying through.
