- Sweet and salty… quite a heavy presence. Creamy, earthy peat pudding. Burnt treacle, lemon pepper, sweet rubbing alcohol. Cherry cough syrup, fireplace soot, salonpas patches, fresh 2-stroke oil, chlorinated brake cleaner, galvanized welding vapors.
- Palate
- Acidic ash, big thick spicy peat. Smoldering… coal fire, hot tar, slurry, iodine soaked linens. Edgy and bitter sweet. Lemonade with light sugar.
- Finish
- Tango of luscious sweet raw sugar, metallic tangy zest and billowing smoke. Diesel, crude, rose oil, lump hickory charcoal fire, molasses… mint oil, very subtle.

The fruit comes through in a darker, sharper way here: cherry cough syrup on the nose, then lemon pepper and a lightly sweet lemonade note against thick, spicy peat. That contrast gives it more character than straightforward sweetness, while the finish leans hard into smoke, tangy zest and raw sugar. The chemical and bitter edges in the notes make this sound challenging rather than easygoing, but the fruit-and-smoke combination is compelling.
